Battle Tested

Captain Rena Sheets has settle her new crew on an experimental starship leaving human space for the first time. They've contacted new civilizations and a select few of her officers know of the artificial intelligence, Shenna who is slowly growing to personhood while running integral parts of the ship.

But when an Angel vessel is discovered following them, the crew's world is turned upside-down. The Angels have dominated a galactic war for decades, until humans first surprised them with their ingenuity. Now the crew must learn if their planning is enough to take on an Angel battlecruiser one to one.

It's time they were Battle Tested.
